Air Macau, in partnership with several local organisations, has delivered a second shipment of humanitarian aid to Sichuan Province. The Macau Red Cross and the the Macau Union General of Community Association were in charge of organising and purchasing the aid with the generous support of the Macau SAR Government and the local community.
The Air Macau cargo plane NX9638 carried 2,879 boxes of humanitarian aid including medical equipment, emergency medicine and daily necessities worth around MOP10m.
The Macau SAR Government was responsible for the schedule, while Air Macau, Nam Kwong (Group) Co Ltd, Macau International Airport Co Ltd and Menzies Macau Airport Services bore the financial responsibility of the oil, airport services and ground operation charges.
Osaka prOvIng pOpular A rise in demand for Air Macau’s round-trip services from Macau to Osaka has seen ticket reservations reaching an average of 80%. In view of the increasing market demand, Air Macau increased their Osaka schedule to include daily flights from 16 July.
Air Macau has also teamed up with Universal Studios in Japan this summer. Every customer who signs up for the Osaka package or the Osaka Family Package from 1 July to 31 August, 2008 will receive a free Universal Studios ticket. The 3-day, 2-night package tour costs from MOP3,495 up and includes Macau-Osaka economy class round-trip air tickets and two consecutive night’s accommodation with breakfast (tax is not included).
